The Manager Procurement is responsible for developing and implementing processes for the effective procurement of supplies, equipment, and services. These activities support needs in all areas of the company including Operations, Facilities, Business Administration and Finance. Specific areas of attention include solicitations (RFP’s, RFI’s, etc.), procurement advertising, evaluation, contracting, inventory control/management, vendor management, documentation, and audit support. The Manager Procurement manages an important supportive service to the departments and the organization by acquiring resources to assure effective and efficient operations. The Manager Procurement oversees comprehensive inventory control activities and is the liaison for the organization in building and maintaining key supplier relationships and managing the supplier interface throughout the supply chain.salary: $98,000 - $102,400 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorResponsibilities Host vendor meetings and attend vendor fairs. Monitor vendor performance by evaluating and grading supplier service levels. Effectively manage and maintain inventory. Assist with audits and other external reviews. Maintain purchasing information (e.g., Requests for Proposal, purchase orders, contracts, vendor files, etc.) through Contracts 365 software and Infor. Maintain a vendor library with current catalogs and online information. Ensure verification of receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered, resolves shipments in error with suppliers. Compile, maintain, and provide purchasing planning and control information. Participate in educational opportunities. Review orders to determine product types and quantities required to meet demands.
