The EHS Manager will assist the Director by managing aspects of program development, management of assigned program roll out, collection of key performance indicator data, assessment of plant EH&S performance, and drafting key EH&S documentation such as safety manuals, program templates and training material. Job-related experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience in a EHS Management position in a manufacturing environment. 3. Technical knowledge and skills: Ability to develop and formalize written safety procedures in compliance with applicable government regulations. Assist with development of standards. Work with plants to develop predictive (leading) KPI's. Develop KPI dashboard and other performance tools. Leverage existing business partners such as Marsh, FM Global, and Travelers to focus their resources on targeted J&J issues. Work with other groups (Regulatory and CI) to issue a harmonized incident investigation approach that includes root cause analysis. Assist plant by training the trainers, attending regulatory meetings, and by directly intervening for limited durations at troubled plants. Assist the regulatory compliance campaigns to upgrade specific programs. Assign with migration of paper-based documentation to a robust IT management and accountability tool. As the program matures, assist with development of an auditing program and conduct audits of facilities.
