As an Electrical Designer, you will play a crucial role in our team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. You will be involved in designing electrical panels and providing drafting/engineering support throughout our projects.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology/Engineering or relevant field in place of degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in controls engineering.
- Hands-on experience with BOM (Bill Of Materials)

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide application support and assist in quoting control projects.
- Work closely with other team members to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Stay updated with the latest UL/NEC requirements to ensure compliance in our designs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical 2D.
- Experience in designing various electrical diagrams and lists, including one line/block diagrams, wiring/interconnect diagrams, and cable indexes.
- Ability to produce and check design layouts, detail drawings, and assembly/mechanical drawings.
- Previous experience in designing starter, soft starter, and VFD panels.
- Familiarity with NEC and UL508A requirements (NNNY experience is a plus).
- Solid communication skills to interact directly with customers and understand their needs.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to continual improvement and learning mindset.
