What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot and Repair: Maintain electrical, mechanical, boiler, HVAC, and other critical systems to minimize downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Ensure equipment reliability and efficiency through inspections, testing, and proactive repairs.
- Safety First: Champion a safe work environment, adhering to all company and regulatory standards.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventories.
- Mechanical Skills: Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication a big plus.
- Electrical Expertise: Comfortable with AC/DC systems, low/high voltage, and troubleshooting using multimeters.
- Problem Solver: Ability to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and implement repairs effectively.
- Team Player: Works well independently but also collaborates effectively with fellow technicians.
- Boiler License (or Willing to Obtain): MN 2B license is required for this position.

Responsibilities
2 Shift openings:
- 6am-6pm (2-2-3 schedule)
- 6pm-6am (2-2-3 schedule)
- Execute work assignments safely, following all safety procedures and deadlines.
- Maintain equipment functionality and minimize downtime through preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Document activities accurately for effective communication (work orders, PMs, requisitions, etc.).
- Electrical Troubleshooting: AC/DC systems, low/high voltage, single/3-phase, read wiring diagrams, use a multimeter, replace motors/VFDs.
- Mechanical Troubleshooting: Basic hydraulics and pneumatics (troubleshooting, leaks, valve/solenoid replacement, cylinder replacement).
- Welding: MIG/TIG experience (food grade a plus).
- Fabrication: Operate band saw, drill press, mill, lathe, hydraulic press, grinders.
- Computer: Proficient in email and maintenance software for work orders and reporting.
- PLC troubleshooting
- HVAC systems (basic troubleshooting, motor/belt replacement)
- Boiler systems (monitoring, troubleshooting, component replacement)
