Responsibilities
Production Oversight: Supervise the daily operations of the fertilizer production line, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing the manufacturing processes. Team Management: Lead, train, and manage a team of operators, technicians, and other production staff. Ensure staff adherence to production schedules and operational goals. People Development: Organize and execute routine performance reviews for the production staff. Develop skills and abilities within the production staff. Provide pathways for growth. Quality Assurance: Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs in compliance with ISO 9001 standards to ensure finished products meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards. Address any deviations in quality by adjusting processes and training staff accordingly. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all production equipment is functioning optimally. Schedule regular maintenance and oversee repairs to minimize downtime. Safety Management: Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards. Conduct regular safety audits and participate in the development of workplace safety procedures. Process Improvement: Continuously assess production processes and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. Utilize Lean manufacturing principles or other efficiency-enhancing methodologies.
