Lead the development and implementation for processes and procedures to execute master production schedule and material requirement plan using SAP. Actively participate in the demand planning process, analyze demand inputs to develop & control production planning and capacity requirements, execute the clear-to-build plan and provide timely status updates. Collaborate with cross functional departments to maintain the flow of required raw materials. Work closely with purchasing to expedite, reschedule materials shipments to avoid disruptions in production while maintaining optimal stock levels Develop and manage a holistic rough-cut capacity model to manage constraints. Develop, implement and maintain an effective capacity and production planning process by balancing plant utilization/cost and inventory. Monitor and execute supply planning process related to contract manufacturers, including demand-supply management, monitoring CM forecast, expediting requirements as needed. Coordinate with the team related to outside processing and sub-contracting orders related to manufacturing Measure, monitor, and drive root cause analysis to improve the Supply Planning, Inventory and Customer Service critical metrics (ie. Plan Attainment, Service Level, Capacity, Inventory Turns). Maintain proper inventory levels, to facilitate on-time delivery of customer orders Drive expansion of SAP functionality to improve visibility and better control of production planning activities. Set up and maintain required master data in SAP to ensure proper execution of supply planning processes. Leads Site Planning meetings and address roadblocks that interrupt the schedule.
