As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger while preparing essential financial reports. Your responsibilities will include recording journal entries, conducting variance analysis, reconciling accounts, and providing support to field personnel on financial matters. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of GAAP, the ability to handle complex cash account reconciliations, and experience working with internal and external auditors. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience. CPA certification or pursuing certification is preferred. Extensive knowledge of general ledger accounting concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively. Proficient in Excel and other accounting software.
