We are assisting a company in the area that is looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team and assist them with a contract assignment that could possibly be extended. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day functions of the accounting department including month-end closings and various journal entry processing, with direct responsibility for multiple balance sheet accounts. This position will also assist with the quarterly reporting and SOX implementation/maintenance processes.
