We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with a focus on Indirect Tax to help support our clients Indirect Tax functions as well as other needs within their department. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree is required. 5 + years in Indirect Tax experience is required Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a high-volume and changing environment Demonstration of ownership and ability to multi-task in order to balance responsibilities with assigned projects, while ensuring that all deadlines are met Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel. Alteryx software experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably within all levels of the organization. Self-starter with exceptional ability to identify and solve problems. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential. Assist with Indirect Tax Savings (utility tax refunds, manufacturing exemptions, etc.) Assist in the configuration and maintenance of Vertex O series and Onesource Sales &Use Tax Engine Assist in the configuration and maintenance of Onesource (Property Tax). Proactively prepare, gather, analyze, and format materials for Sales and Use Tax, VAT, Tax compliance, and Reverse audits. Prepare independently annual Business Personal Property Tax Returns Independently prepares tax work papers, self-review of work product supporting filing of state and local tax returns for accuracy. Perform global monthly indirect tax account accruals, reconciliations, and related journal entries Manage workload to effectively meet deadlines Responsible to own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results Respond to complex tax inquiries or matter from internal/external sources without supervision Independently complete Tax research on new indirect tax incentives to reduce companies EBITDA.
