We're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Controller to lead financial operations for our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for job costing, budgeting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have strong cost accounting skills and experience supporting production teams with data-driven insights.

responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for the manufacturing operations.
- Maintain accurate job costing records and analyze variances related to labor, material, and overhead.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting.
- Partner with operations and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production costs, margins, and variances.
- Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation processes, including physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, including capital expenditures.
- Support ERP system updates and integrations related to costing and inventory modules.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies and procedures.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Accounting.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing accounting or cost accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in leadership
- Strong job costing and standard costing experience required.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
