responsibilities:
- Process and transmit AP invoices
- Manage weekly AP check runs and payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate vendor master files and W-9 forms.
- Assist with coding, preparing, and scanning invoices.
- Analyze AP reports to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes for accounts payable, including 1099 preparation.
- Assist with payroll reconciliation, tax filings, and managing employee deductions.
- Serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
- Support the accounting team and auditors during annual audits.
- Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Accounting preferred, with 2-3 years of related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional phone manner.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
