responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a highly tenured team of 4-5 accounting professionals, providing guidance and support for AP, AR, collections, and payroll functions.
- Oversee and execute the complete month-end close process, ensuring all financial packages are prepared and ready for timely presentation to the executive team.
- Manage all AP functions for all locations from the Dallas office.
- Manage payroll for all 7 locations.
- Conduct journal entries and prepare financial statements for 7 different locations, providing a comprehensive narrative summary for the owner.
- Ensure the timely completion of account reconciliations for key accounts, including inventory and fixed assets.
- Handle all tax payments and local permits, including sales and use tax and business use tax.
- Provide critical support for the annual audit.
- Collaborate with affiliates across the U.S. to ensure a smooth month-end close process.
- Manage and reconcile inventory accounting
qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required (non-negotiable).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a management or supervisory role.
- CPA is a nice to have
- There is no remote work , fully in office position. (non-negotiable)
- Multi-Site experience
- Deep expertise in General Ledger (GL) finance and reporting, with a strong command of debits and credits.
- Experience with inventory accounting is highly preferred.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with a long-tenured team.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a nice-to-have preference.
- A strong, supportive culture where your work is valued.
- A very tenured and stable team that has an average of 10 years of experience.
- A competitive salary range of $125K - $150K, based on experience.
- Standard business hours, Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a flexible schedule that may require 1-2 weekends a month depending on workload.
- This is a fully on-site position at a small office.
