responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for training, supervising, and reviewing the accounting close functions performed by both internal staff and outsourced teams. This includes conducting performance evaluations , establishing goals, and offering coaching and mentoring to all team members.
- You will continually evaluate accounting procedures and processes , pinpointing areas that need improvement and implementing more efficient, streamlined workflows .
- You will take part in the monthly draw process and assist in the preparation of property budgets and projections .
- Coordinate and participate in the completion of annual audits .
- You will be involved in significant deal closings , including the processes for acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions .
- The role requires frequent interaction with a wide range of internal and external parties, such as internal management , the investment team, property managers, investors , lenders, banking institutions , JV partners, and external tax, legal, and audit advisors .

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting REQUIRED.
- CPA Preferred
- 3 years of experience in real estate investment accounting/operations. This experience should have been gained at an owner/operator, lender, or third-party administrator
