responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary support system for the CFO during the month-end close by handling heavy-lifting bank and checkbook reconciliations.
- Maintain a real-time pulse on the company's cash position by monitoring daily online banking, deposits, and deductions.
- Ensure flawless G/L coding for recurring expenses, utilities, and corporate credit card statements to keep the books audit-ready.
- Own the M/W/F data entry rhythm, matching invoices with POs and packing slips with 100% accuracy.
- Manage the full payment cycle-from high-volume weekly check runs to ACH and wire transfers-utilizing Integrated Payables and fraud protection tools.
- Manage the end-to-end weekly payroll cycle, including timecard audits, attendance tracking, and check distribution.
- Act as the point person for employee lifecycles, managing insurance enrollments, PTO/Sick logs, and new-hire onboarding documentation.
qualifications:
- 5+ years of solid experience in full-cycle Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Sage is highly preferred.
