The Role & Focus
In this position, you will move beyond standard accounting into the realm of Project Analysis. You will be the primary link between the sales desk and the general ledger, ensuring that every logistics cost, service fee, and customer settlement is accounted for with 100% accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Job Cost Management: Manage complete project records, including the allocation and posting of project-specific expenses (logistics, processing, and third-party fees).
- Settlement Oversight: Handle daily and monthly settlement processes for B2B accounts, ensuring final figures align with contract terms.
- Variance Analysis & Reporting: Produce accurate financial reports by consolidating data from CRM and ERP systems, identifying and explaining discrepancies.
- Operational Integration: Collaborate directly with sales and field teams to resolve billing issues and follow up on critical project deliverables.
- Process Evolution: Identify areas for improvement in manual workflows and develop documented internal controls to scale with the company's growth.

Technical Profile
- The "Must-Haves":
- 3-5 years of experience in project-based or job-cost accounting.
- Advanced Excel Skills: High proficiency in VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, and Nested IF statements.
- GAAP Proficiency: Solid foundation in general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Systems: Hands-on experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred).
We are looking for a professional from a "Project-First" background-such as Construction, or Large-Scale Installation.
The successful candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys a dynamic environment. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, possess the confidence to challenge discrepancies, and have the communication skills to translate complex financial data for non-accounting stakeholders.
