responsibilities:
- Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks using standard procedures and technical understanding.
- Independently generate precise, reliable, and reproducible data in a timely manner.
- Document all experimentation according to regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills.
- Develop protocols for more complex tests or experiments.
- Ensure safety and GxP requirements are met.
- Ensure timely and GxP-compliant delivery of high-quality, precise data.
- Apply basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Present findings of defined experiments to larger groups.
qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology, or a related field with at least 5 years of lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred), OR a Master's degree with at least 2 years of lab experience.
- Solid and experienced use of analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, UV/VIS, and MS, as well as chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower, Openlab, Chromeleon).
- Lab research experience (academic and/or industry) with a proven track record.
- Familiarity with GMP and GLP, and/or an understanding of working in a regulated environment.
- Strong background in chemistry fundamentals.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to present experimental findings to large groups.
- Research presentations/publications.
- Strong working knowledge of the instruments mentioned in the required skills section, with demonstrated strong lab skills.
- Excellent documentation skills, with GMP/GLP experience.
- Experience in presenting findings to scientific organizations.
