responsibilities:
- Perform routine sampling and data entry of cell culture experiments.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment operation.
- Assist with the preparation of media and buffer solutions.
- Stock, organize, and inventory consumables and supplies.
- Clean and assist with general housekeeping of laboratories.
- Draft and review document procedural records (SOPs).
- Operate complex systems and equipment in strict accordance with safety guidelines.
qualifications:
Required skills:
- Minimum of an AA Degree.
- Ability to perform standard algebraic calculations (e.g., serial dilutions and concentration calculations).
- Demonstrated interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Ability to operate and care for laboratory equipment.
- Willingness to lift up to 30-35 pounds occasionally.
- A general knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and terminology.
- Basic understanding of dimensional analysis.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to carry out tasks according to verbal and written instructions.
