Summary
Join the client's team as a Lab Technician I and become a key player in ensuring the quality and safety of their world-class cosmetic products. Based on-site in Somerset, New Jersey, you will be responsible for conducting critical microbiological testing and environmental monitoring that upholds their rigorous quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to a leading company in the personal care industry, working in a dynamic laboratory setting where your work directly impacts product integrity and consumer trust.
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing of finished goods, raw materials, and bulk products.
- Execute and maintain accurate records of air, water, and environmental sampling and testing.
- Conduct validation studies, such as disinfection validations, to ensure quality control.
- Promptly alert senior management to any potential quality control issues.
- Comply with and implement all current standards, procedures, and specifications.
- Participate in microbiological audits and act as a management representative during compliance reviews.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with the client's policies and procedures.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
- Perform additional project work as needed to support the team.
