Clinical Contracts Manager, FSP
The Clinical Contracts Manager is responsible for drafting and negotiating study-level contracts for non-compete suppliers, change orders, and financial close-out activities. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and a proactive approach to managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation to tracking metrics and ensuring compliance.

What You'll Do:
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and execute clinical contracts, ensuring they align with project budgets and company standards.
- Budget Oversight: Independently review project budgets, identify discrepancies, and negotiate with vendors to achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining project quality.
- Process Improvement: Optimize contract administration processes, contributing to operational efficiency and the implementation of new outsourcing technologies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key liaison between internal teams (e.g., Legal, Clinical Operations) and external suppliers, proactively addressing issues and escalating as needed.
- Data & Metrics: Maintain and track contract metrics, including workload status, contract savings, and compliance data.

Required:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in contract management and operations, with a focus on clinical budget negotiations and contracting teams.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts, identify cost savings, and resolve financial discrepancies with vendors.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to navigate and analyze complex workbooks. Experience with contract management systems (e.g., SmartSheets, Airtable, Ariba, Veeva Vault) is highly valued.
- Communication: Strong, proactive communication skills with the ability to work autonomously, escalate issues, and build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving ability and a talent for managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Project Management: Demonstrated advanced project management skills.
- Career Progression: Candidates who can show a history of career advancement or taking on new responsibilities over time.
- Experience: Experience with contract management in a biotech/pharma environment.
