responsibilities:
- Perform sampling of incoming raw materials and components in accordance with established Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support global manufacturing operations.
- Responsible for the routine cleaning of the Sample Room, including daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- Conduct monthly collection of Environmental Monitoring samples utilizing specialized equipment, including an air sampling unit and incubator.
- Affix barcode labels to materials subsequent to the completion of the sampling process.
- Perform standard readings of charts that track temperature and humidity data.
- Executes assigned tasks with a strong emphasis on safety, prioritizing both personal and team well-being.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate documentation and record keeping.
- Exhibits a high level of quality integrity while executing SOP procedures and possesses the ability to work independently and maintain focus without direct supervision.
- Possesses excellent communication abilities alongside strong mathematical skills.
- Experience preferred in SAP, Infor LX, Microsoft Excel, and spreadsheet applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and comply with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, including hair net, scrubs, safety shoes, safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and respirator mask as necessary for specific job functions.

- High school Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or warehouse environment, particularly in a role involving material handling, sampling, or inventory management.
- Basic computer literacy including familiarity with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet applications, as mentioned in the responsibilities.
- College Degree
- Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, food, or manufacturing, where knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards is essential.
- Familiarity with inventory management or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Infor LX, which are explicitly mentioned as preferred skills in the job description.
- Experience with laboratory or sampling equipment like air sampling units or incubators.
- Certifications in quality control or a related field (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician).
