responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, clean and sanitary work environment
- Conduct all activities in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and all required Company policies and procedures
- Perform all necessary cleaning (eg. glassware) duties
- Schedule & perform clinical laboratory procedures according to protocol submitted
- Perform biological & clinical (e.g. blood, urinalysis, fecal, etc.) assays as required to support the nutritional research efforts of the facility and health care of our pets
- Maintain accurate records/log of analytical requests and data
- Effectively communicate results, through written technical documentation and reports
qualifications:
- BS/BA in Biology or related field recommended
- A minimum of 2-5 years related experience
- Excellent working knowledge of all laboratory equipment and GLP's
- Good teamwork, interpersonal, communication, organization, math and writing skills
- Computer literacy
