job summary:
Client in Greensboro is seeking two (2) Chemical Analysts to help support their growing team. Ideally, these will work M-F 1st shift for 3+ months, may convert to Full Time.

responsibilities:
*Process/integrate instrument data using instrument software. Review sample and QC data with assistance from Supervisor as needed.
*Report results through LIMS or legacy reporting. Review the accuracy and completeness of the data, prior to submitting to the Scientist.
*Communicate promptly any unexpected result and outlier values to the Scientist. Investigate OOS as per SOP and under guidance of Scientist and Supervisor.
*Report client samples in a timely manner to ensure deadline requirements are met. Communicate project status to Scientist, Analytical Manager and Supervisors.
*Prepare standards and QC samples as required
*Contact Supervisors to purchase items as required.
*Proper documentation to maintain data integrity and complete audit trail as per ISO 17025 and GLP requirements.
*Participation in internal and external audits as required.
*Implement the Laboratory Quality Policy and perform duties in accordance to existing project specific requirements, current Test Methods, study plans and SOP.
*Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures and wear PPE
qualifications:
*knowledgeable in using, handling, or disposing of chemicals properly and safely.
*understanding of chemical measurements and able to measure solutions properly
*thorough understanding of contamination.
*able to prioritize and remain efficient.
Education
1) M.Sc. or B. Sc (chemistry is preferred)
2) Diploma - science laboratory technician, environmental biology or chem technology.
3) Chemical Engineering Degree
