responsibilities:
- Independently perform and verify various laboratory techniques, including complex testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve analytical technique and instrument issues.
- Proactively identify, develop, and implement improvement plans for laboratory processes.
- Effectively manage your time to complete assigned tasks and make recommendations for efficiency.
- Communicate proactively with your supervisor and team members to ensure timely product release.
qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a science field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of direct laboratory experience.
- Technical: Hands-on experience with analytical chemistry techniques.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and good documentation and communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work with general supervision while managing time and multitasking effectively.
- Environment: Experience working within a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.
- Technical Competencies: Experience with techniques such as HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, ICP, Karl Fischer, dissolution, IR, titrations, or other common wet chemical testing.
- Software: Experience with Empower software.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts and weekends.
