Job Summary
This role is to support trial related functions in both the benchtop and pilot plant.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to handle industrial grade chemicals safely
- Technically proficient in assembling and disassembling equipment
- Past experience with industrial scale cleaning.
- Assist in other departments with basic duties.
- Basic equipment operation. Limited to scope of work.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Other duties as assigned.
qualifications:
- A.S or B.S degree preferred in science, culinary, baking or related area or equivalent experience.
- Can effectively and efficiently plan work.
- Previous experience working in food manufacturing and/or culinary environments preferred.
- Intermediate level use of Microsoft (Excel, Word)
- Ability to lift 30lbs- daily material handling
- Great communications skills (email, phone, person to person)
- A proactive independent person that is able to complete projects/jobs with minimal supervision.
- Creative and innovative with a sense of urgency and passion.
- There will be at least two formal meetings with the supervisor to evaluate the progress toward the goals. There is also the opportunity to work closely with other members of the team for guidance.
