responsibilities:
- As part of the Quality Control team, your primary responsibilities will be as follows:
- Coordinating shipment and logistics for internal, domestic and international shipments. Team member will be responsible for logistics requirements for outgoing shipments, working with finance, trade compliance, and shipping team to set up shipments and ensure all pre-requisites are met.
- Responsible for inventory management of consumables, samples, reference materials for the QC laboratory.
- Responsible for authoring documents related to reference materials, assay controls, and critical reagents, including but not limited to: reports, data summaries, certificates of analysis, and memos.
- Responsible for working with QC, Analytical Science and Technology, Analytical Development, and Analytical Technical Operations groups on material needs and inventory.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
qualifications:
Required
- Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline
- Minimum experience required: 3+ years relevant experience in sample management, inventory management in a GLP/GMP laboratory setting.
- Must have understanding of QC terminology
- Experience with technical writing, analytical methods, and wet lab chemistry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under established guidelines and instructions
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.
- Ability to efficiently prioritize and complete multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with shipment and logistics (domestic and international).
