responsibilities:
- Perform and manage a broad range of molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, plasmid cloning, Western Blotting, Protein purification).
- Conduct mammalian cell culture including stable cell lines, iPSCs, and primary culture, along with transfection (plasmid and lentivirus).
- Analyze and understand protein interaction partners of the neurotoxin.
- Drive novel engineering efforts to achieve next-generation therapeutic toxin.
- Communicate scientific findings effectively through both verbal presentations and written reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project execution within established timelines.
qualifications:
Required Skills
- B.Sc/M.Sc. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or a related scientific discipline.
- At least 2 years of molecular/cell biology experience in an academic or industrial research laboratory setting.
- At least 2 years of tissue culture experience.
- Proficiency in a broad range of molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, Western Blotting, Protein purification).
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and transfection (plasmid and lentivirus).
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining experiments.
- Passion for research and learning new techniques.
- Enthusiasm for collaboration and an open science, team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
