We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join a collaborative team in Marlborough, MA, to support the analytical testing of cell therapy products for development activities. This is a hands-on laboratory role focusing on routine and repetitive sample analysis, primarily utilizing Flow Cytometry and Aseptic Mammalian Cell Culture. This is a 3-month contract with potential for extension.

responsibilities:
- Perform routine and repetitive analytical testing of cell therapy development samples, utilizing established techniques/SOPs, including aseptic mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and molecular assays (e.g., qRT-PCR/ddPCR)
- Document all work meticulously in electronic laboratory notebooks or paper forms (SOPs), databases, and inventories, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping.
- Analyze experimental results and accurately report data out to the project lead and team within established timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other internal departments to coordinate sample testing schedules and support development activities.
- Support general lab maintenance, including equipment upkeep, restocking, and ordering supplies.
qualifications:
Required
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with adherent mammalian cell culture
- 1 year of hands-on experience with flow cytometry
- Be able to follow established techniques/SOPs in aseptic cell culture, cell and molecular biology to generate and analyze data in an accurate and reproducible manner.
- Capable of maintaining accurate records in electronic laboratory notebooks or paper forms/SOPs, appropriate databases, and inventories in a timely manner.
- Cellular therapy laboratory experience
- Experience in mRNA/DNA extraction and qRT-PCR/ddPCR
- Experience with ELISA
- Experience with pluripotent stem cells
