This contract position for an Associate Production Scientist is a great opportunity for a proactive and safety-conscious individual to gain hands-on experience in a cGMP production environment. The role involves operating production equipment, handling potent and hazardous materials while strictly adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Hours: 6am-2:30pm or 7pm - 3:30pm

responsibilities:
1. Complete assigned work orders from planning within the standards created for each work order.
2. Maintain clean work environment.
3. Participate in meetings necessary for team collaboration.
4. Follow SOPs and batch records to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
5. Demonstrate safe competent operation of lab and production equipment by complying with established procedures.
6. Use site procedures (ManGo/Trackwise) to update or create documents.
7. Training co-workers as needed.
8. Participate in validation activity as required
qualifications:
- Bachelor's in biological or physical sciences = Micro or Molecular Biology
- ?0 to 3 years of professional experience in a Lab Operations environment (for degreed individuals).
- Experience with bacteria culture is a plus.
- Knowledge of concepts and procedures within a job discipline.
- Knowledge of specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process.
- Ability to exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
- Accountable for the quality of own work.
- Ability to receive clear instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior roles.
- Ability to perform routine assignments using existing procedures.
- Ability to work autonomously within established procedures and practices.
- Ability to solve problems of low complexity independently by identifying and selecting solutions and by analyzing factual information.
