Drive the messaging strategy for a critical Flu/Influenza portfolio as the central steward of the Scientific Communication Platform (SCP). You will translate complex clinical, RWE, and HEOR data into clear, audience-specific narratives. Success in this role requires exceptional scientific writing skills, meticulous organization, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to ensure global message consistency and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

responsibilities:
- Refine and steward the SCP and scientific narratives for assigned products (Flu, CMV, and rare diseases).
- Translate complex clinical and HEOR data into crisp messages aligned with global medical strategy.
- Maintain message discipline and version control; synchronize statements with the latest data and cross-functional input.
- Craft modular assets (slide decks, FAQs) and manage materials through the MRC approval process.
- Manage medical communications agencies to ensure high-quality, on-budget delivery.
- Partner with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and HEOR teams to ensure consistent communications across global channels and markets.
qualifications:
Required:
- Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MSc with relevant experience).
- 5 years' experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or related field in pharma/biotech.
- Direct experience in Flu (Influenza) or respiratory viruses, specifically focused on Scientific Communications, Medical Affairs, or Vaccine therapeutic areas.
- Strong background in narrative and content development, ideally including SCP ownership.
- Excellent scientific writing and storytelling skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Experience in CMV, rare diseases, or vaccines preferred.
