This R&D Process Improvement Intern works closely with R&D Process Improvement Manager, Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and author R&D-owned process documents (e.g., SOPs, WIs, etc.). This role is responsible for driving process improvement efforts across R&D to maintain high standards of quality and compliance

responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and updating process documents (e.g., SOPs, Work Instructions) under guidance.
- Support process mapping activities using tools like Microsoft Visio.
- Help maintain document records in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Contribute to inspection readiness activities and periodic document reviews.
- Learn and apply best practices for process improvement and compliance.
qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Interest in pharmaceutical/biotechnology R&D processes.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Visio is a plus.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Work from home and attend the office for meetings with BSO team, Business Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts and site events as part of engagement in DEIB activities.
