responsibilities:
- Support global laboratories with ongoing configuration and optimization projects specifically for Thermo SampleManager LIMS.
- Interpret laboratory test methods to identify and extract the precise calculations and formulas required for accurate result generation.
- Compile custom calculation fields within SampleManager to automate the processing of laboratory data.
- Draft technical documentation and guidelines to ensure laboratory staff can effectively utilize new system calculations and reporting features.
- Execute calculation validation processes to maintain compliance with laboratory quality applications and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality Systems support team to ensure LIMS and CDS integrations meet stakeholder requirements.
qualifications:
Required Skills
- Scientific background with direct experience following analytical test methods.
- Experience as a Laboratory Analyst with a focus on chromatography.
- Proven experience with Thermo SampleManager LIMS.
- Ability to interpret and translate complex scientific formulas into digital system requirements.
- Strong understanding of laboratory quality systems and validation processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Lab Administration and supporting quality-specific software.
- Familiarity with Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) such as Empower or Chromeleon.
- Experience working on multi-site or multi-stakeholder projects.
- Strong technical writing skills for drafting system guidelines.
