responsibilities:
- Define and Document Program Scope: Independently utilize advanced program management tools to establish execution strategies, resource requirements, and critical milestones for global manufacturing initiatives.
- Lead Cross-Functional Governance: Implement work breakdown structures and integrated timelines while facilitating collaboration across Engineering, Science & Technology, Supply Chain, and Quality.
- Manage Product Transfers: Oversee the technical and operational transfer of products from development to manufacturing sites, including assembly, labeling, and packaging operations.
- Mitigate Program Risks: Proactively develop contingency plans and resolve issues to maintain program momentum, ensuring all deliverables meet global quality and regulatory requirements.
- Financial and Resource Oversight: Manage programs within approved financial plans, resolving variances and ensuring accurate tracking of capital and operational expenditures.
- Facilitate Global Communication: Lead international meetings and stakeholder briefings, maintaining a consistent narrative to ensure alignment across multiple global manufacturing and testing locations.
- Drive Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost avoidance, acceleration, and efficiency by staying ahead of changes in the global device and drug-delivery landscape.
qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technical operations within the Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Device industries.
- Project Leadership: Minimum 5 years of global program/project management experience.
- Technical Environment: Minimum 5 years of experience in drug product fill/finish, device manufacturing, or combination product packaging plant environments.
- Industrialization: Proven experience with the qualification of assembly, labeling, and packaging operations and product transfers from development to operations.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel (advanced), MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
- Documentation: Ability to create program charters, Gantt charts, RACI matrices, risk registers, and material supply plans.
- Advanced Credentials: Advanced degrees (Master's/PhD) or PMP/PgMP certifications.
- Regulatory Exposure: Knowledge of quality systems, design controls, and regulatory submission strategies for product launches.
- Data Analytics: Experience with Power BI, Smartsheet, or Open AI tools.
- Business Acumen: Strong financial management skills and business strategy experience.
- Linguistics: Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus for global coordination.
