responsibilities:
- Execute high-throughput antibody screening and characterization assays to evaluate binding, functional, and polyreactive attributes.
- Perform complex cell- and protein-based functional assays to support lead identification and optimization.
- Manage independent laboratory research, including the modification and troubleshooting of experimental designs and instrumentation.
- Support the expansion of high-throughput screening platforms and the evaluation of novel assay technologies.
- Analyze, document, and interpret experimental results, presenting findings within the proper scientific context during team meetings.
- Maintain meticulous cell culture lines and operate automated liquid handling systems to ensure assay consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to deliver stage-gate appropriate data packages for therapeutic candidates.
qualifications:
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology (or related field) with 3-5 years of experience, or a Master's Degree.
- Strong experience with binding assays, specifically ELISA and Flow Cytometry (FACS).
- Proven experience with automated liquid handling systems.
- Direct experience working with biologics, antibodies, or mimetics.
- Advanced proficiency in mammalian cell culture techniques.
- Strong competency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data reporting.
- Experience in a high-throughput screening (HTS) environment.
- Proficiency with scientific analysis software such as GraphPad Prism and FlowJo
