As a Global Medical Program Manager, you will provide strategic leadership to Medical Strategy Teams (MST), translating complex goals into executable plans across multiple therapeutic areas. Reporting to the Head of Medical Program Management, you will act as a vital bridge between Global Medical Unit Heads and cross-functional partners to ensure medical strategies are integrated into seamless operational systems. This is a hybrid role requiring two days onsite per week.

responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of Medical Strategy Teams (MSTs), managing critical paths and adjusting priorities in response to shifting strategic directions.
- Stakeholder & Resource Management: Partner with medical leads to present strategies to decision-makers; identify resource needs, oversee program budgets, and ensure financial forecast accuracy.
- Operational Excellence: Facilitate high-impact meetings, manage governance approvals, and resolve program challenges with clarity and urgency.
- Innovation & Technology: Leverage digital platforms and generative AI/agentic technologies to automate routine tasks, enhance data-driven decision-making, and streamline global communication.
- Risk & Reporting: Proactively identify and mitigate risks while delivering comprehensive program status dashboards to global, regional, and local stakeholders.
qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a science or business-related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years leading complex pharmaceutical projects in a global, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle and program management within Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or Regulatory functions.
- Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in financial management (budget planning/OpEx), performance metrics, and digital collaboration tools.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information for management and foster cooperation across diverse global divisions.
- Travel: Ability to travel internationally approximately 5%.
