This role is part of the Delivery Science organization and is responsible for the execution and optimization of a broad range of analytical techniques to enable robust and comprehensive characterization of raw materials, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) and nucleic acids.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working across diverse analytical instruments and laboratory techniques, adheres to established procedures, proactively identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results supported by clear and thorough documentation.

responsibilities:
- Design and execute analytical experiments to characterize nucleic acids and LNPs, ensuring timely, consistent, and professional execution with established procedures.
- Conduct stability studies to evaluate drug product shelf lifePerform high-throughput analytical workflows using automated laboratory robotics, including HPLC, FACE, capillary electrophoresis, GC, SDS-PAGE, particle sizing, thermal analysis, Raman, FTIR, bioassays, and other spectroscopic and characterization techniques.
- Process, input, and manage large volumes of analytical and sample data.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support lab instrumentation to ensure reliable operation.
- Maintain good documentation practice and detailed scientific records of experiments.
- Communicate and collaborate with researchers and scientists across disciplines.
- Manage laboratory materials and consumables to support project needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
qualifications:
Required
- BS in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory environment.
- MS in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with drug delivery systems, nanoparticle formulations, and/ or nucleic acids is a plus.
- Familiarity with automated and robotic laboratory systems is a plus.
- Highly Self-motivation with a strong commitment to excellence, results, and innovation.
