responsibilities:
- Develop Cross-Functional Roadmaps: Create and manage comprehensive project implementation plans by integrating inputs from R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams.
- Manage Project Execution: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of NPI programs, including technical transfers of products and global launches of combination device programs.
- Drive Financial & Timeline Accountability: Maintain rigorous control over project budgets and schedules, utilizing Microsoft Project and Office Timeline Plus to report milestones and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate Lean Initiatives: Lead process improvement workshops and lean initiatives to reduce complexity, remove waste, and optimize business performance across the PDS&T organization.
- Coordinate Global Stakeholders: Synchronize efforts between internal franchise organizations and third-party suppliers, ensuring alignment across different time zones and geographical regions.
- Risk & Resource Management: Proactively identify project risks, maintain detailed RACI charts, and facilitate resolution for technical, financial, and personnel conflicts.
qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Industry Experience: 10-15 years of experience within the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industry.
- Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years specifically focused on medical device/pharma combination products.
- Functional Experience: Diversified background in operations support, plant-level quality, supply chain, and commercial product launches.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and the full Microsoft Office suite.
- NPI Knowledge: In-depth understanding of R&D practices, design controls, and technical transfers.
- Certifications: PMI/PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Lean Methodologies: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt with significant workshop facilitation experience.
- Advanced Education: MBA or advanced business degree.
- Strategic Leadership: Ability to comprehend complicated global logistics and drive change with minimal supervision.
