responsibilities:
- Execute high-throughput quantitative LC-MS/MS analysis for small molecules and peptides across various biological matrices.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance and hands-on troubleshooting of AB Sciex LC-MS/MS systems and Agilent HPLCs.
- Develop and optimize robust analytical methods using diverse extraction and chromatographic techniques.
- Manage the full bioanalytical workflow, including sample extraction, data processing, and result interpretation.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all experimental work within LIMS, test methods, and technical protocols.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Discovery and DMPK-BA teams to provide critical bioanalytical support for multiple projects.
qualifications:
Required Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree (8+ years experience), Master's degree (6+ years experience), or Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Quantitative Bioanalysis: Proven hands-on experience in the quantitative analysis of small molecules from in vivo/in vitro samples.
- Instrumentation: Demonstrated proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AB Sciex Mass Spectrometers, Agilent HPLCs, and Leap/CTC PAL autosamplers.
- Method Development: Extensive experience in developing methods using various extraction and chromatographic methodologies.
- Laboratory Independence: Proven ability to work independently in a high-throughput environment, designing experiments and interpreting results with minimal supervision.
- Peptide/Protein Analysis: Experience with the analysis of peptides and proteins in biological matrices.
- Advanced Chromatography: Knowledge of reverse phase method development.
- Industry Background: Previous experience working within a regulated bioanalysis or CRO (Contract Research Organization) setting.
