This is a 3rd shift role, the schedule will be 4x10hr shifts either Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday from 10pm-8:30am.

responsibilities:
- Perform and verify a wide range of analytical laboratory techniques for API, raw material, and in-process testing within a strict GMP environment.
- Interpret complex data outputs to determine strict conformance to product specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to analytical methods and laboratory instrumentation.
- Manage individual workloads effectively to meet tight production deadlines and ensure timely product release.
- Identify and implement process improvement plans to enhance laboratory efficiency and safety protocols.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and interface with regulatory agencies during audit activities as required.
qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in the Sciences (0-4 years experience) OR an Associate degree with at least 3 years of laboratory experience.
- GMP Experience: Direct experience working within a Good Manufacturing Practices environment.
- Lab Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience in a professional laboratory setting.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to resolve technical obstacles independently.
- Availability: Must be able to work the 3rd shift (10pm-8:30am) on a 4x10 schedule (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat) following the initial training period.
- Technical competency with LC, LC-MS, GC, or GC-MS.
- Experience with Empower software.
- Familiarity with Karl Fischer, dissolution, IR, or ICP.
- Strong background in titrations and common wet chemical testing.
