Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 6–9 years of experience in reporting, analytics, and Epic systems.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data cataloging.
- Expertise with Power BI and data visualization best practices.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data lineage, and business glossary development.
- Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog, Metric Insights, or similar metadata tools.
- Experience with AI tools that support prompting or copilots is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
- Stakeholder management skills across both technical and business domains.
- Healthcare data and analytics experience is required.
- Experience working with Epic and other electronic health record (EHR) systems is required.

Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI.
- Create report layouts that clearly convey key performance indicators (KPIs) and business insights.
- Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure report accuracy and integrity.
- Gather and analyze reporting requirements, ensuring appropriate data availability and structure.
- Continuously refine reporting solutions to align with evolving business needs.
- Own and manage metadata documentation across enterprise data platforms, including detailed table and column descriptions.
- Define and present metric definitions and metadata standards to governance bodies and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data stewards, product owners, and analytics teams to ensure consistency of business terminology and data lineage.
- Support implementation and refinement of the Advanced Analytics Governance Framework.
- Promote metadata adoption across analytics tools and facilitate integration with AI copilots or prompt-based technologies.
- Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and usability of metadata.
