A busy law firm in Daytona Beach is seeking a Medical Scheduler to join their team. This role is critical in ensuring that clients receive timely medical care while supporting attorneys and case managers with accurate scheduling and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple schedules with professionalism and discretion.

salary: $16 - $17 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule medical appointments, diagnostic tests, and follow-up care for clients
  
  
• Coordinate with doctors’ offices, hospitals, and treatment centers to secure timely appointments
  
  
• Maintain accurate and updated records of scheduled appointments and medical documentation
  
  
• Communicate with clients to confirm appointments and provide reminders
  
  
• Track client treatment progress and update attorneys/case managers accordingly
  
  
• Handle cancellations, reschedules, and urgent appointment needs efficiently
  
  
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and legal standards
  
  

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in scheduling within a medical office, hospital, or law firm preferred
  
  
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
  
  
• strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems a plus
  
  
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
