A leading building products company is looking for a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to drive growth and build lasting relationships in North and Central Florida. This isn't your typical remote job; it's a field-based, boots-on-the-ground role where you will be the face of our company in a high-growth territory.
We're looking for a seasoned hunter with a proven track record in outside sales within the construction materials industry. You'll be selling directly to lumber yards, construction companies, and other key players, leveraging your expertise to understand their needs and deliver superior value.
Your mission: maximize revenue and gross profit by creating and presenting persuasive sales proposals that turn prospects into loyal, repeat customers. You will become an expert on our products, communicating their features and benefits with confidence and helping clients achieve their professional and financial goals.
To succeed in this role, you must live within driving distance of the territory, which includes major hubs like Orlando, Daytona, Palm Coast, Palatka, and Ocala. If you're ready to take full ownership of a prime territory and deliver exceptional results, we want to hear from you. ***BASE SALARY is approx $65-70K*** with commissions, bonuses, and profit sharing - first year realistic comp package would be ~$90K. - Strategically Manage Territory: Proactively travel throughout your assigned sales territory (North & Central East Florida) to build a robust network of prospects and customers.
- Drive Daily Engagement: Consistently conduct calls and in-person meetings with both prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
- Cultivate Relationships: Go beyond simple transactions to build lasting relationships and become a trusted advisor, fostering customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Maintain an Organized Pipeline: Accurately document all sales leads, customer interactions, and account activities in the CRM to forecast sales and ensure a smooth process.
- Provide Consultative Solutions: Educate customers on the financial and professional benefits of our products and services, demonstrating a clear return on their investment.
- Exceed Sales Targets: Proactively sell the company’s full range of products and services, consistently meeting and exceeding assigned sales quotas.
- Be a Market Expert: Continuously monitor competitors and market conditions to stay ahead of the curve and position our products as the premier choice.
- Ensure Seamless Order Fulfillment: Take ownership of the entire sales order process, from securing the sale to communicating all details to the operations team for timely delivery.
