We are seeking a Staff Accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience who is confident handling day-to-day accounting functions such as general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience in QuickBooks. 

salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

1. Monthly General Ledger Reconciliation
- Maintain accuracy of the general ledger by reconciling accounts regularly.
- Identify and correct any discrepancies in account balances.
2. Financial Statement Review
- Participate in the monthly close process by reviewing the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
- Help ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements before they are finalized.
3. Issue Resolution
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularities.
- Work with other departments as needed to clarify financial transactions.
4. Special Projects
- Perform various ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned by management, such as supporting audits, preparing schedules, or improving internal processes.
