Responsibilities
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business development and nurturing client relationships within a designated territory. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting and Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach to expand our client base in the food service or produce sector.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close, including conducting presentations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts.
- Territory Management: Create and execute territory plans to maximize sales potential and achieve ambitious targets.
- Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate daily reports on sales activities, client interactions, and progress using CRM tools
- Proven B2B sales success, experience in food service or produce distribution.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cold calling, prospecting, and building rapport with diverse clients.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Spanish-speaking preferred is a plus
