A client of ours located in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join their team.  This role is responsible for ensuring that compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with agency goals. You'll drive market competitiveness, provide expert guidance, and support managers in effective compensation management.  This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package. 

salary: $70,000 - $77,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Align Pay Practices: Ensure compensation practices are consistent with agency goals and competitive within external market trends.
  
  
• Conduct Market Benchmarking: Perform thorough market analyses and benchmarking to evaluate the competitiveness of salaries, incentives, and benefits programs.
  
  
• Provide Compensation Guidance: Offer expert guidance on job evaluations, salary range development, and pay adjustments to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  
  
• Monitor Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry compensation trends and recommend strategic updates to the compensation policies and programs.
  
  
• Support Job Documentation: Develop guidelines and collaborate with managers to create accurate job descriptions, ensuring correct coding for FLSA classification, salary grade, EEO categories, and overall compensation alignment.
  
  
• Collaborate on Compensation Issues: Partner with management to resolve diverse compensation issues, interpret policies, and communicate relevant regulations effectively.
