In this role, you’ll handle everything from reconciliations and account preparation to filing reports with provincial regulatory authorities. You’ll also manage invoicing systems, accounts payables/receivables, and use analytical tools to identify industry trends.

Responsibilities
Financial Management & Compliance
- Maintain and manage accurate financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ensure all financial activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and file month-end and year-end financial reports to the provincial securities regulatory authority.
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Manage billing processes and invoice software to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including processing reimbursements.
- Prepare and manage statutory accounts and other regulatory filings.
- Analyze financial data and leverage analytical tools to identify industry trends and patterns.
- Support leadership with financial insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Keep financial ledgers clean, up to date, and well-organized for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Utilize financial software tools to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
