Responsibilities
- Identify vendor parts and materials and cross-reference them to the company part numbers.
- Identify, mark and/or tag parts for inventory.
- Accurately enter receipts into inventory daily.
- Review and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Pick and pull parts to Sales Orders and Job Orders.
- Receive and route customer returns and other operational non-inventory goods.
- Package items for a damage-free shipment. Including boxes, crates, pallets, and FTL
- Make shipping arrangements for daily shipments for UPS, FEDEX, DHL and other logistics carriers. Prepare quotes for sales dept at customer request.
- Prepare shipping documentation, packing slips, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and other needed international and domestic documents.
- Understanding of INCOTERMS. Understanding of NAFTA and other international shipping requirements.
- Maintain organized work area and inventory areas.
- File freight claims.
- Trace shipments.
- Quote shipments.
- Deliver goods to other departments.
- Schedule long haul truck loads.
