Responsibilities

·       Submit daily bank balance reports to upper management

·       Review and recording of monthly journal entries accruals and reversals

·       Post Payroll Journal Entries from company’s payroll processing system on a weekly basis

·       Reconcile various balance sheet accounts as assigned

·       Research credit worthiness of new customers and new customer setup

·       Distribute and reconcile employee credit card statements

·       Preparation of the monthly and year-to-date cash flow

·       Prepare quarterly IFTA tax filings

·       Coding accounts payable invoices for correct placement on General Ledger

·       Review weekly A/P disbursements matching invoice to proposed disbursement verifying proper approval and coding

·       Weekly preparation of Owner Operator fuel reports

·       Integration of Invoice activity, Payroll batches and Partner Carrier activity from TMS and ADP systems into Great Plains accounting system

·       Preparation of weekly operating reports for Plumrose, Resolute

·       Detention tracking including review of daily detention tracking spreadsheets and monthly preparation of accrual for detention

·       Assist in the implementation of corporate policies and procedures such as invoice processing, cash management and calculation of billing rates

 ·       Accurate and timely production of all financial information

·       Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies

·       Investigate questionable data per analysis of GL accounts
