Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the full-cycle accounting for a diverse portfolio of hotel properties, including hands-on management of Accounts Payable (invoice processing, vendor payments) and Accounts Receivable (billing, cash application).
- Drive the month-end close process, preparing all necessary journal entries, performing bank and credit card reconciliations, and generating comprehensive financial reports for management.
- Analyze financial data to identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements across the organization.
- Leverage proficiency in Oracle, Nimble, Excel, and other hotel-specific AI software to ensure data integrity and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Lead operational accounting duties, including managing all RMV applications for vehicle fleets and coordinating annual workers' compensation audits.
- Handle key administrative and bookkeeping tasks, including vendor file maintenance, processing bank deposits, and supporting office administration as needed.
- Contribute to a wide range of ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives as a key member of a small, dynamic finance team.
