Responsibilities
- Lead the production planning process, collaborating closely with operations, engineering, and sales to review customer orders and develop realistic delivery commitments.
- Ensure the efficient utilization of each production line to meet demand.
- Develop and implement optimal stock levels for raw materials to ensure continuous production coverage.
- Monitor material and inventory levels through diligent data analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee all material and inventory control functions, including scanning verifications, error reporting, shrinkage management, order cancellations, and vendor order tracking.
- Utilize the ERP system and other applications to maintain accurate and current material and inventory records.
- Collaborate with Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure stock levels consistently meet demand.
- Generate accurate reports on monthly material and inventory balances for both operational and financial stakeholders.
- Perform data entry, prepare reports for physical inventory, and assist with research for material variance adjustments and other discrepancies.
- Compile raw material reports and complete month-end and year-end reconciliation processes.
- Partner with PC management to plan, coordinate, organize, and conduct physical inventories for periodic cycle counts or annual processes.
- Provide feedback to Quality and PC Sales management to ensure customer receipts are accurate and products are in good condition.
