They are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications to take the lead on all things brand, messaging, and storytelling. If you love crafting content with purpose, driving community engagement, and bringing visibility to work that truly makes a difference, this role might be your calling.
What You Bring to the Table Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field highly preferred
- 4+ years of experience leading marketing/communications strategy, ideally in the nonprofit or mission-driven sector.
- Demonstrated success managing media outreach, brand development, and integrated campaigns.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, Canva, and donor or marketing platforms (e.g., Donately).
- Deep knowledge of emerging digital tools and social platforms, with a passion for testing new strategies and technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; natural storyteller.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills.
- Strategic thinker with a creative spark and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Have experience working with youth or women-focused programs.
- Bring fresh ideas to content development, fundraising campaigns, and community storytelling.

salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that elevates the organization's brand and expands awareness across all programs.
- Collaborate with leadership to align messaging and media efforts with organizational goals.
- Own the creation and execution of compelling content across various channels: newsletters, website, social media, print materials, podcasts, and video content.
- Manage the development of branded collateral for fundraising, business development, and public relations efforts.
- Create and manage a multi-platform content calendar.
- Measure and analyze marketing performance to drive results and optimize campaigns.
- Introduce innovative campaigns and strategies to support program growth and donor engagement.
- Stay ahead of the curve—be someone who’s not only up to date on what works now, but has your finger on the pulse of what’s hot tomorrow. This team needs a tech-savvy trendwatcher who thrives in the ever-evolving digital marketing space.
- Serve as a point of contact for media and press relations, including managing third-party agencies.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive brand messaging and campaign execution.
- Oversee marketing vendors and manage marketing budgets effectively.
- Maintain the organization’s website with timely and relevant updates.
- Spearhead creative social media initiatives and engagement strategies across major platforms
