We’re partnering with a respected organization that’s looking for a Benefits and Payroll Coordinator to join their team. In this critical and confidential role, you’ll manage end-to-end payroll processing and oversee a comprehensive employee benefits program. You’ll be the key point of contact for benefits-related inquiries, open enrollment, and compliance—ensuring employees are supported and informed every step of the way.
This position offers a full benefits package including 401(k), health, dental, and life insurance, an HSA, employee discounts, and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities
- Support bi-weekly payroll processing by reviewing timecards and updating necessary employee information
- Administer garnishments and liens in accordance with federal and state laws
- Manage employment verification requests and address general payroll and benefits inquiries
- Guide employees through enrollment processes for medical, dental, vision, and other benefit plans
- Provide ongoing support to employees and managers on benefit plan options, enrollment eligibility, and life event changes (e.g., marriage, dependents)
- Maintain and update benefit-related information within HR and payroll systems
- Oversee employee benefit records, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Manage data uploads and updates across benefits vendor platforms
- Facilitate the annual open enrollment period in coordination with insurance carriers and payroll providers
- Prepare systems and documentation for annual enrollment, including benefit rate adjustments
- Create and distribute employee-facing communications to educate on benefits offerings
- Administer COBRA processes through third-party providers (e.g., WageWorks)
- Respond to 401(k) plan inquiries, including enrollments, deferral changes, and catch-up contributions
- Process and track general liability and property loss claims; coordinate with insurers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution
- Support internal teams with administrative tasks and documentation related to payroll and benefits
